And you thought quitting a job was the end of it

Not so here.

Yesterday, I called the payroll home office to find out some things about my money that they owe me…almost $2,000 worth. I wanted to know when I would be recieving said money as well as the day care money that they took out of my check that should not have been. I talked to the new payroll person for 10 minutes, and she said she would call me back. I ended with that.

This morning, I got a call from Teresa. I wasn’t here, and she left NO MESSAGE on my machine. So, I called back when I got home from Kirk and getting Isaac from ECEC.

She informed me that the home office had requested I stop calling and that they’d mail me my check when it got cut.

Ummmm…OK. I called ONCE. Never ever called back. Person said she’d call ME back, and that was at 3:45 yesterday afternoon. I had NO TIME to call back anyone…

Soo, then Teresa tells me that her or Melissa would call me and let me know. That’s when I hit the roof. I told Teresa (very politely) that I would appreciate it if they need to contact me that it be her. I then proceeded to let her know that Melissa made my last day a living nightmare and that she flat out accused me of not changing diapers. I also told Teresa I knew she was going through a lot, but that was no exucse for starting what she started on Friday. I also informed her that I NEVER want to deal with Melissa again.

Now, let’s wait for the money to roll in and make sure it’s CORRECT. If it’s wrong, I’m calling the home office MYSELF. I’m not playing this game of “welll….you need to call Teresa…” Nope. You’re going to deal with ME.

*sigh* can I have a week off from my life. I’ve got name tags. Anyone want to be me for a week?
