bruise shock

So, for the first time since I got the boot, I took it off to sleep last night. I almost had a panic attack when I looked at my ankle and foot. It’s one scary looking thing, and I promise I won’t post pictures of this, but the bruising is extensive. Moreso than I’d ever thought possible.

The bruising on the left side of my foot starts just below my toes and goes down to my heel, and then up almost to my calf. AND, it’s the darkest shade of purple I’ve ever seen. It’s almost black. The right side of my foot is so bruised that it starts at the ball of my foot and goes up just over my ankle joint. Again, lovely shade of purple.

I guess I was expecting some slight bruising, but maaaan…not this. I definately went into severe shock mode when I took a peek at my ankle…and whammo.

So, what are the bets on how long the brusing will take to go away?

I got hit at the very end of september in my shin, just below my knee on my left leg. the bruise and pain is still there.

I think atleast a year you’ll still have some bruising. True Story.
