Reason number 2 trillion that I hate this area.

This.

This was taken at 7:30 pm… Yes, it is STILL snowing. Those ARE snowflakes.

and this.

This was taken around 1pm today. It is helpful to know that this is my porch. My porch has a roof over it. This area NEVER gets wet when it rains.

and this:

This was taken around the same time as the last one. Note…the driveway WAS shoveled out…was being the operative word…

and that is my trash can. It is buried. I told Doug “Before you start snowblowing..can you please put the trash can in the garage?”

Oh, and notice my neighbor’s house. She HAD steps at one point. Note the word HAD.

No, do not tell me this is “pretty.” Do not tell me that “Oh, it’s just snow…”

Whatever.  This sucks.

for the record, that was taken an HOUR after the shoveling/snowblowing was done.

    and
I was the only one home. It’s too cold to have Isaac out for any length of time.

Remind yourself of the reason you all moved back there? Remind yourself what was going through your head two? years ago?

That’s exactly why we moved out of WNY. My last winter there was in 2001/2002, and between Christmas and New Years we had 7 feet of lake effect snow. That was the last straw. I hate the snow!! Especially when you spend hours shovelling, only to look back after you finish and have it look like it was untouched. I feel your pain!!
