Holy garbage…

I just got a peek at the new CPR guidelines.

I don’t know…I just don’t know…

Here. Take a peek for yourself and weigh in on what you think.

As for us here at Chez E. Nowhere, we’re both kind of skeptical. As CPR/First aid/RTE instructors, we’ve been doing this breath thing for a LONG time…and I don’t know how people are going to differentiate between when it’s ok to do the chest only and when they need to actually breathe.

Oh, and this is only American Heart Association. Wonder when Red Cross (who is always a day late and a dollar short…) is going to adopt these changes to be in line with the more professionally preferred American Heart Association.

I think this falls right in line, the longer we practice, the more knowlegde we gain and the more we fine tune the practices we have implemented. Now, if someone would just realize that orange juice is not a clear liquid I’d be so much happier!
