Training seminars and the crafting response

Today, I sat through the corporate brainwashing training seminar that was called “The Starbucks Experience.”

So, from this brainwashing session training seminar, where the trainer was wearing coffee bean earrings (!), I’ve learned a few things:

  1. Starbucks has a commitment to fair trade, and the 20th of every month is “Fair Trade day” where a fair trade coffee is showcased. I quite like Cafe Estima. YUM.
  2. If you can get your hands on it, get yourself a cup of Mocha Java Senani. Holy macaroons, this stuff is good straight.
  3. Maxwell house coffee rots. Just sayin.
  4. Buy Ethos water. they donate money from the purchase to help give clean water to nations that need it.

So, after all of this, I needed a creative outlet.

I picked up this

and some yarn and some circular needles…and am working away.

I’m getting over my craft block…whoopie!

So, maybe sitting in a corporate brainwashing training seminar was worth it!

Wow, looks like they did their job really well– that trainer should get a raise. You’ve even trained me… wish I had a Starbucks peppermint mocha with half the syrup right… about….NOW!
