This is Booger.

I'm wearing a knitted sock and I don't care. Just pet me, please.

Booger is not the brightest of cats. She was found in a car engine. We swear she inhaled fumes. BUT, we adore her.

Today, while I was at work, Doug told me that Booger caught a mouse in the house. Not shocking after the two micecapades we’ve had this year. (I’m shuddering even remembering them-the dead mouse on the stairs and the one in the bathtub that refused to get into the stupid bucket so I could get it out of hte house!!) Well, she was whacking it around and beating it up…and being a cat.

So, based on track record, let’s take a vote here.

There are two things that could have happened.

1) Booger ATE the mouse, and I will not find a random carcass the next time I’m wandering the house late at night…

2) Booger killed the sucker and left it laying around somewhere in the house, most likely in my craft room, since that’s where Doug told me he heard the epic Booger Vs. Mouse battle last.

So, should I be on my guard for a carcass or not even think about it?

Entry filed under: insanity.

You can delete this comment, but I’m on my mom’s computer and can’t remember your email address. The boys and I are in town. I can ditch them easily and come visit you at the land of green mermaids, or we can hang at the park or something. either with kids or without, but it would have to be a weekday since my weekends are booked.

Me thinks that Booger has probably left you a present someplace. She loves you that much 🙂
