The best bad customer service retort ever. Seriously.

So, on Wednesday, we took Isaac to Dr. ENT. We went to the OTHER office, not the normal one.
Long story short, we had the wrong appointment time, got lost in Saratoga 3 times and then got to the office late.
Having talked to this evil receptionist, I was gearing for a fight. Doug was trying to talk me down, because this woman was RUDE beyond belief.
So, being sick of gettning lost, we stopped at teh Saratoga YMCA. Beautiful place…and I asked one of the people where this office was, and I asked her if I could use their phone to call and say we were still on their way. I also explained that this woman that I would be talking to on the phone was a witch. Seriously. A witch.
YMCA person said this to me: “You know what I say to those people? ‘Did a house just fall on your sister?’”
Yeah. She said that. I was immediately in love…
So, to the rude receptionist at the Saratoga office who:
- said “I don’t mean to be rude to you, but you’re taking my time and I have a line of people in front of me.” when we were trying to figure out if we were going to be able to make it or not..and she was the one who was talking
- said “why can’t you come tomorrow?” When I explained that I couldn’t give up that day’s appointment.
- When we got to the appointment, PULLED OUR FORMS OUT OF THE GARBAGE even though she knew we were on our way.
- Tried to put me on hold so she could “help someone else”
- Demanded a copay and got snotty when I told her she would have to bill me because of the events that had gone down…oh, like rushing out of our house at warp speed because of her and her rudeness…
I say this: Did a house just fall on your sister?
